Happy Imbolg

It's Imbolg (pronounced Immolig) today. The word means "in the belly". The Goddess is pregnant with the new life of spring (to be born on May 1).

And of course the groundhog (traditionally badger) pokes his nose out of the belly of the earth today to see if Winter will continue. It's a bright sunny day here today, so we should expect some harsh weather before the beginning of May.
